Reviews of Hotel Le Najadi

Jon
The hotel had a great location, very close to the beach and with beautiful views. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to offer assistance. Breakfast was good, with a variety of options available, including fresh fruit and pastries. Plus, there was free Wi-Fi available in the lobby.
The rooms were outdated and in need of renovation. The furniture was old and worn, and the beds were uncomfortable.

Good location in a charming little town.
As a freelance musician I have seen a lot of hotelrooms through the years. The family room at Hotel Le Najadi, with two separate bedrooms and shared bathroom, was simply the worst quality hotel room we have ever seen, right out disgusting in every way imaginable, and hardly suitable for a youth hostel. When we asked to change, we where presented with a total additional cost of €228 extra for the four nights we stayed there, and got rooms of extremely basic standard, but still slightly better than the family room, at least a balcony and view of the sea. You really get the feeling that the owner of the hotel doesn't care one bit about this place, as long as the money keeps rolling in. Breakfast was poor and the slippery old cement swimming area at extra charge, even for guests staying at the hotel. When checking out, we where presented with a bill €144 more than agreed upon, and after a lengthy discussion we had to take out money from an atm 1km away, so they could get the agreed extra money in cash, and in this way avoid tax. When we came back they had suddenly changed their mind again, and wanted more money. I had to spend an hour quarrelling (in front of the kids) with the staff and on phone with the manager before they finally gave up when I threatened with Booked.net and lawyers. Insanely unprofessional, and a ruined vacation. This hotel should be avoided at all costs. Don't stay there.

Lo staff è di una gentilezza e di una professionalità fuori dal comune. La cucina è per palati fini. L'arredamento è di un retró autentico e raro. La posizione, praticamente a picco sul mare, è mozzafiato.

There is not much positive to be said about this hotel. The general staff is trying to do a good job under a poor management.
Hotel Le Najadi might have been a 3 star hotel when it was built, some 40 years ago. The lack of maintenance and repair has however got the hotel to todays poor state. I rank it as maximum a one star hotel. The breakfast is close to not existing, the room had a strange smell, bed sheets where dirty, with old stains and holes. The Internet, which they advertised, should work throughout the whole building, in REALITY, only works in half of the lobby. The lobby has no AC and gets brutally hot, very inconvenient to do any internet business. Their own "beach" consist of old, worn down, concrete terrace, for which they charge 30€ a day... We actually left the hotel, because of the above.. Not worth to spend time and money here!
